Incident Summary
Description:
We identified an issue impacting Mailchimp connectors, which resulted in widespread sync failures with a "Reconnect" error and subsequent rescheduled syncs.

Timeline:
This issue began on November 4, 2025, at 02:00 UTC and was resolved on November 4, 2025, at 19:30 UTC.

Cause:
The failures were caused by an intermittent fault in one of Mailchimp’s source endpoints (/oauth2/metadata). Since this endpoint’s response is critical for authentication and subsequent API calls, the issue prevented syncs from proceeding, leading to sync failures across affected connectors.

Resolution:
The faulty response from the source endpoint was fixed, after which the affected connectors automatically recovered and resumed normal sync operations.
